Four Chaplains Day

Four Chaplains Day recognizes the four chaplains who acted in the spirit of heroic sacrifice on board the sinking USAT Dorchester during World War II. You are cordially invited to attend our Annual Four Chaplains Day Memorial Celebration. There will be a presentation by Pastor Thomas Elbert followed by light refreshments. Pastor Elbert served in military chaplaincy around the globe until retiring in 2016 after nearly 30 years of service. This is an awesome opportunity to pay tribute to the courageous chaplains and the brave young men who lost their lives on February 3, 1943. This is open to the public.
